The historic first women's Test at the Ground, 50 years since England first played a women's match at Lord's, begins on Friday 10 July and follows the ICC Women's T20 World Cup, with four matches - including the Final - at the Home of Cricket.
Half a century on from the One-Day International between England and Australia, Nat Sciver-Brunt will follow in the footsteps of Rachael Heyhoe Flint and lead England on to the Main Ground.
England have of course enjoyed fantastic white-ball success at Lord's, with the Ground having hosted as many women's ODIs as anywhere else in the country. The Home of Cricket has played host to 21 England Women internationals, including 18 ODI's and 3 IT20's.
In 2009, England won the inaugral ICC Women's T20 World Cup at the Ground, defeating New Zealand by six wickets and eight years later, a defining moment for the women's game arrived when England beat India in a thriller at a sold-out Lord's to win the ICC Women's World Cup.
However, it will be the first time that international red-ball women's cricket will be played there and with India one of the strongest teams in the world game, the occasion promises to not only be a historic milestone, but a thrilling contest between two fantastic sides.
Lord's is the only ground to be confirmed as hosting women's internationals until at least 2031, as MCC continues its commitment to growing the women's game.
Tickets currently remain available for all four days of the Test match. To view more details and to purchase, please follow the link below.
