Lord’s will play host to three Test matches – a women’s Test between England and India, and two for England Men, who will face New Zealand and Pakistan.
It will be only the third time in its history that Lord’s has hosted three Test matches in one summer, and the first time that England have featured in all three matches.
As confirmed by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) today, the first international action of the summer will be on Thursday 4 June, the opening day of the Rothesay men’s Test match between England and New Zealand.
The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will then arrive at Lord’s, with England hosting West Indies on Wednesday 24 June, before a double-header on Sunday 28 June with South Africa playing one of the qualifying teams, and Australia taking on India.
The showpiece final will be held at Lord’s a week later on Sunday 5 July, with England no doubt hoping they will be there to continue their winning ways – they have triumphed in every World Cup Final held at the Ground.
In what will be a true celebration of women’s cricket at the Home of Cricket, the first women’s Rothesay Test match at Lord’s will begin on Friday 10 July, with England hosting India. Fifty years on from the first women’s One-Day International at Lord’s, Nat Sciver-Brunt will follow in the footsteps of Rachael Heyhoe Flint and lead England on to the Main Ground.
On Sunday 19 July, England’s men will renew their ODI rivalry with India as the teams face each other in the 50-over format, before Pakistan visit Lord’s for their first men’s Test at the Ground against England since 2018, from Thursday 27 August.
As of today, pre-registration is open for tickets to all three Test matches and the men’s ODI at Lord’s in 2026.

Rob Lawson, Chief Executive & Secretary of MCC, said: “We’re hugely excited to be able to confirm the dates for our international matches at Lord’s in 2026, having delivered three incredible matches already this summer.
“To host a women’s Test at Lord’s is a huge honour. Having hosted as many women’s One-Day Internationals as anywhere else in the country, and with attendances on the rise including 19,000 tickets sold for our recent women’s ODI, it is only fitting that we will now host a Test match.
“Coupled with our matches in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, next year is shaping up to be a real celebration of women’s cricket at Lord’s. We’re committed to increasing the amount of women’s cricket and we’re the only ground confirmed to host women’s internationals until at least 2031.
“As we remain gripped by the England v India men’s Test series this summer, it’s a thrill to look forward to seeing Ben Stokes and his squad twice at the Ground next year, with New Zealand and Pakistan both providing stiff opposition.”
“With India back again next summer in white-ball action, it really does whet the appetite for what is set to be one of our most exciting international summers on record.”
