S.C.J. Broad 5-51 v IrelandBack to boards

Stuart Broad achieved a spot on Lord’s Honours Boards once again following his five wicket haul against Ireland in an one-off Test match at The Home of Cricket.

On Day One of the Test, Broad picked up three early wickets on a cloudy morning at Lord’s to put the hosts on the driver’s seat.

After a little fight back from the Irish, Broad ended up on figures of 5-51 off his 17 overs just after Tea helping England bowl out Ireland for 172 of 56.2 overs.

He picked up the wickets of James McCollum, PJ Moor, Andrew Balbirnie, Harry Tector and Mark Adair to go up on the Honours Boards for the fourth time, with this being the third for his bowling accolades.
