An Auction | Live and Online from Lord’s, with the MCC Foundation
Middlesex v Yorkshire Metro Bank One Day Cup - Sunday 2 August
For the first time ever, the remarkable private collection of the former England Women's Cricket Captain, Baroness Rachael Heyhoe Flint OBE DL will be offered at auction.
Rachael was a pioneer, trailblazer and one of the most influential figures in the women’s game. From leading England to victory in the inaugural Women's World Cup in 1973, to becoming the first woman elected to key committees at MCC, her legacy helped reshape cricket forever.
This exceptional sale - with the MCC Foundation the event’s exclusive charity - presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a piece of sporting history, featuring iconic and deeply personal items from her extraordinary life and career.
In a year full of women’s cricket - celebrating 50 years (minus 2 days!) since Heyhoe Flint first took her ladies onto the hallowed turf of Lord’s in 1976 - join Budds auctioneers at the Home of Cricket on Saturday 2 August (or online) for a unique day of all things cricket.
Preview from 10.00. Live Auction in Pelhams at 14.30
