The Jubilee line has no planned closures on Sunday 19 July 19 and is scheduled to run a good service across the entire route. However, there is planned disruption across the Piccadilly, Elizabeth, Weaver and Windrush lines, as well as parts of the DLR being shut and the Overground’s Lioness line having a reduced service. Please plan your journey in advance to ensure you arrive at the Ground with plenty of time. Gates open from 9.00AM and long queues are expected - so please ensure you plan accordingly.
There are plenty of options across the Transport For London (TFL) network to get to Lord’s. Please note that roadworks on Wellington Road throughout the summer will cause some disruption in and around St John’s Wood underground station and therefore we urge you to use alternatives whenever possible.
It is also highly recommended to use the Underground station most appropriate for where you will be seated in the Ground. These options should be considered for entry and leaving:
The closest rail stations are Marylebone (15 mins) and Paddington which is a pleasant 20-minute stroll taking in the canals of Little Venice.
Entry through the North Gate will be via automated turnstiles, with stewards on hand to assist if needed.
Click the link below for more transport options.
This fixture is sold out and the Ground will be very busy. We strongly encourage all spectators to arrive as early as possible, soon after the gates open at 09.00, to allow extra time for queuing and security checks so you're in your seat for the start of the match.
Match and gate opening times are as follows:
| Gates open | 9.00 |
| Scheduled start of play | 11.00 |
| Scheduled lunch interval | 15.00 |
| Scheduled start of second innings | 15.28 |
| Scheduled close of play | 18.30 |
Please note that spectators using the Heyhoe Flint Gate may experience longer than usual queues on arrival. UK Power Networks have installed a compound close to the gate, which is expected to impact the flow of spectators entering through this entrance. Please allow additional time if you plan to enter the Ground via the Heyhoe Flint Gate.
Ahead of the match, we’re offering ticket holders the chance to take part in two competitions, giving you even more to enjoy as part of your day at the Ground.
