8:30 gates open
please use the gate/arrival time as shown on your ticket. This will help minimise congestion at the gates
10:30 Scheduled start of play
12.30 – 13.10 Lunch
17.30 Scheduled close of play

travel

There are plenty of options across the Transport For London (TFL) network to get to Lord’s. Please note that roadworks on Wellington Road throughout the summer will cause some disruption in and around St John’s Wood underground station and therefore we urge you to use alternatives whenever possible.

It is also highly recommended to use the Underground station most appropriate for where you will be seated in the Ground. These options should be considered for entry and leaving:

  • For the Warner Stand, Pavilion, and Tavern and Allen Stands, use Warwick Avenue or Edgware Road (15 min walk)
  • For Mound and Edrich Stands, use Baker Street (15 min walk)
  • For the Grand and Compton Stands, use St. John's Wood (10 min walk)

The closet rail stations are Marylebone (15 mins) and Paddington which is a pleasant 20-minute stroll taking in the canals of Little Venice.

Entry through the North Gate will be via automated turnstiles, with stewards on hand to assist if needed.
