I.R. Bell 109 v AustraliaBack to boards

Ian Bell’s fourth and final appearance on the Honours Boards was arguably one of his most important.

England were 28/3 on Day One of their Ashes clash, before Bell’s 19th Test hundred guided England to a more respectable 361 all out.

Bell faced 211 balls in innings lasted 307 minutes and included 16 fours to become only the fourth England player to score centuries in three successive Ashes Tests.

The Warwickshire batsman added a futher 74 in the second innings as England sealed a comprehensive victory over their rivals, winning by 347 runs.
